Catalonia Eixample 1864

This fantastic hotel is located in the city's historic centre, next to Plaza Cataluña. Situated in one of the first buildings in the enlargement ("Eixample") of the city of Barcelona.

It was designated a Historical Monument thanks to its interesting eclectic classical style. It is the only building that conserves the wealth of paintings and decorations on the original front, which have been fully restored. On the Modernist Route, it is located very close to Paseo de Gracia and the busiest commercial area of Barcelona.

Located in Barcelona’s Eixample district, this listed 19th-century building offers stylish modern interiors and free Wi-Fi. It is just 300 metres from the designer shops and Gaudí buildings of Passeig de Gràcia Boulevard.

The Catalonia Berna is housed in one of the Eixample’s oldest buildings, and its painted façade is the only one in the Eixample that has been fully conserved.

Inside, you can relax in a comfortable en suite bedroom with sleek wooden floors and furniture, air conditioning and satellite TV.

The hotel's Les Finestres de Llúria restaurant serves traditional Catalan food with a creative twist. The Sala Minerva serves a buffet breakfast with show cooking.

The Catalonia Berna is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from Passeig de Gracia Station. Plaza Catalunya Square is a 10-minute walk away
