Welcome to Lagou Raxi Country Hotel – a 3 star hotel in the heart of South Pelion!
We are situated on the edge of the picturesque and unspoiled village of Lafkos and of course we believe ours is the best view in the area – looking west over the islands of the Pagasitic Gulf – an exceptional panoramic sweep as far as Mount Pelion, Volos and the island of Evia. Inspired by the varied architecture of the Pelion Peninsula our hotel is close to the charming chapel of Agia Paraskevi which nestles amongst cypress overlooking the village.
Walk our local stone paths – paint – ride – sail – play Tavli – dance at a Panigyri – take a Lagou Raxi picnic basket to one of our many beaches or simply curl up with a book. Come alone, with friends or family. Visit one of the two museums in the village. Taste the fresh bread from of our local wood fired bakery.
